Our Story

I’m Olivia Brown, the founder of Furry Stitch, and I want to share a little story with you.

Furry Stitch wasn’t just an idea—it was born from love, loss, and a desire to hold onto something precious.

It all started with Max, my Golden Retriever and my best friend since childhood. Max was always there—through every adventure, every tough day, and every quiet moment of comfort. But as he grew older, I started to fear the day he wouldn’t be by my side anymore.

I wanted something more than just photos to remember him—something I could hold, feel, and cherish forever. Then one day, I looked at an old embroidered piece my mother had made, and it hit me: Why not turn pet portraits into embroidered art? A keepsake, stitched with love, just like the memories we hold close.

I decided to try it. With every stitch, it felt like I was weaving a piece of Max’s spirit into something real, something lasting. When I finally finished, I knew I had created more than just art—I had captured a memory.

Then something unexpected happened. My friends saw it and started asking me to make embroidered portraits of their pets, too. They wanted to hold onto their memories the same way I did. And that’s when I realized—this wasn’t just about me and Max.

That’s how Furry Stitch was born. 

Today, my team and I create personalized clothing and accessories for pet lovers like you—because I know how much these little souls mean to us. Every stitch tells a story, and I’d love to help tell yours.
